The Los Angeles Chargers officially placed DT Zamir Carlis on waivers Thursday.
Carlis, 27, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Stillman back in August of last year.
Carlis was, unfortunately, waived after just a few weeks with an injury designation and later reverted to the team’s injured reserve list where he remained for the 2017 season.
During his senior year at Stillman, Carlis recorded 38 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.
