NFL Notes: Chiefs, Falcons, Giants, Saints, Texans

Chiefs

• Chiefs DT Dontari Poe will miss Sunday’s game, and potentially more, due to an ankle injury he suffered during Sunday’s loss to the Bears.
• Poe did not realize the extent of his injury until he woke up on Monday morning, according to Adam Teicher of ESPN.com.

Falcons

• The Falcons will be without LB Justin Durant and C Mike Person for their game on Thursday night against the Saints. (Vaughn McClure)
• Durant will miss his second straight game due to an elbow injury, while Person sprained his ankle last week.

Giants

• Mike Garafalo reports that Giants TE Daniel Fells underwent another procedure today in an effort to eliminate the MRSA infection from his foot. Doctors are reportedly optimistic about Fells.
• Ian Rapaport notes this is the sixth procedure for Fells.
• Dan Graziano reports that veteran WR Mike Williams worked out with the Giants today, who are looking for some depth at wide receiver with Odell Beckham and Rueben Randle suffering injuries last Sunday.

Saints

• Saints WR Marques Colston and OT Terron Armstead are both doubtful for Thursday night’s game against the Falcons. (Evan Woodbery)

• According to John McClain, the Texans released WR Alan Bonner from their practice squad, replacing him with WR Chandler Worthy.
