Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Chiefs are hosting Eagles free agent CB Ronald Darby for a visit Wednesday night.
According to Rapoport, the Chiefs have “serious” interest in signing Darby and a deal could be done tonight if all goes well.
Darby, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Bills back in 2015. The Eagles trade WR Jordan Matthews and a 2018 third-round pick to the Bills in return for Darby in 2017.
Darby played out the final year of his four-year, $4.569 million contract and is testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career.
In 2018, Darby appeared in nine games for the Eagles and recorded 43 tackles, one interception and 12 pass defenses.
We have him featured in our Top 100 Available Free Agents list.
