Thomas, 26, was taken in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Chiefs. The Chiefs re-signed Thomas to a one-year contract last year.

Thomas’ 2018 season with the Chiefs ended in October after he was placed on injured reserve with a fractured leg. Kansas City re-signed him in August.

In 2019, Thomas has appeared in six games for the Chiefs and caught one pass for six yards and rushed for four yards on one carry. He has also totaled 155 kick return yards and 55 punt return yards.
