Chiefs Sign Four To Futures Deals Including DB Sheldon Price

The Kansas City Chiefs officially signed four players futures contracts on Wednesday for the 2018 season including NT Josh Augusta, CB Sheldon Price, DB Makinton Dorleant, and WR Brandon Shippen.

As of now, the Chiefs have signed four players to futures contracts including:

  1. WR Brandon Shippen
  2. NT Josh Augusta
  3. CB Sheldon Price
  4. DB Makinton Dorleant

Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.

Price, 26, signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in 2013. He was on an off of the Colts’ active roster for two years before he was waived with an injury settlement during the 2015 season.

The Ravens later signed Price to their practice squad and brought him back on exclusive rights contracts the past two years. Unfortunately, Price was placed on injured reserve a few weeks into the 2017 season and later waived.

In 2016, Price appeared in four games but did not record a statistic.
