Chiefs Sign DB Terrance Mitchell & LB Earl Okine To Practice Squad

The Kansas City Chiefs officially signed DB Terrance Mitchell and LB Earl Okine to their practice squad on Wednesday. The Chiefs also waived DB Tyler Patmon.

The Chiefs’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. WR Frankie Hammond
  2. RB Darrin Reaves
  3. WR Seantavius Jones
  4. DT T.J. Barnes
  5. OT Joseph Cheek
  6. G Jordan Devey
  7. DB Jimmy Hall
  8. QB Joel Stave
  9. DB Terrance Mitchell
  10. LB Earl Okine

Mitchell, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Cowboys back in May of 2014. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the Cowboys’ 53-man roster during his rookie season but later signed on to the Bears’ practice squad at the start of the season.

After a brief stint with the Cowboys, Mitchell was claimed off of waiver by the Texans back in June. However, he wound up being among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and later signed on to the Chiefs’ practice squad.

The Chiefs cut Mitchell loose on Monday.

In 2016, Mitchell has been active for one game but has yet to record a statistic.
