Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Chiefs have signed LB Ja’Gared Davis to a contract on Monday.
Davis, 24, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Methodist back in 2013. He spent just a few months in Houston before he was later claimed off of waivers by the Patriots.
Davis briefly caught on with the Chiefs towards the end of last season before being added to the Redskins’ active roster.
Washington would later place him on waivers last month to make room for OLB Junior Galette.
In 2014, Davis appeared in six games and recorded five tackles.
