The Kansas City Chiefs announced Tuesday that they’ve signed six players to future/reserve contracts includingย OT Isaiah Battle,ย DT Montori Hughes,ย LB Khaseem Greene,ย FB Will Ratelle,ย OT Josh James andย DB Julian Wilson.
The Chiefs have officially signed 16 players to futures deals including:
- OT Isaiah Battle
- FB Will Ratelle
- DB Julian Wilson
- OT Joseph Cheek
- G Jordan Devey
- DB Jimmy Hall
- DT Cory Johnson
- WR Seantavius Jones
- DE David King
- LB Earl Okine
- QB Joel Stave
- LB Khaseem Greene
- OT Josh James
- RB Darrin Reaves
- DT Montori Hughes
- RB C.J. Spiller
Battle, 23, became the first player taken in a Supplemental Draft since the Browns used a second-round pick on Josh Gordon back in 2012 when the Rams used a 2015 fifth-round pick on him.
He’s been on and off of the Rams’ practice squad since entering the NFL.
Battle played in 27 career games and started 11 contests last season whileย playing more snaps than any other Clemson player (824).
During hisย time at Clemson, Battle served a suspension in 2013 forย punching a player, and another last season for disciplinary reasons. Battle was also pulled over for speeding in early June and caught with marijuana. He receivedย citations for both incidentsย but wasn’tย charged or arrested in either case.
