The Kansas City Chiefs officially waived DB Michael Hunter from injured reserve with a settlement on Wednesday.
Hunter, 26, wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in 2016. He was on and off of their active roster last season and later returned to New York on a futures contract for the 2017 season.
Unfortunately, the Giants waived Hunter with an injury designation during the 2017 season and he was later waived with an injury settlement. Hunter had brief stints with the Jets, Broncos, Bills and Texans before signing on with the Chiefs in July.
Kansas City waived Hunter with an injury designation and he just recently reverted to their injured reserve list.
In 2017, Hunter appeared in four games for the Giants but did not record a statistic.
