Chiefs Waive WR Davon Grayson From Injured Reserve

The Kansas City Chiefs officially waived WR Davon Grayson from injured reserve on Friday.

Grayson, 24, wound up going undrafted out of East Carolina back in 2018. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Chiefs but was waived coming out of the preseason.

The Chiefs brought Grayson back this past February before waiving him with an injury designation during the preseason. He later reverted to their injured reserve list.

During his college career at East Carolina, Grayson caught 135 passes for 1,767 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 37 games.
