Colts Cut Seven Players & Place WR T.Y. Hilton On Active/Non-Football Injury List

The Colts announced on Sunday they have placed WR T.Y. Hilton on the active/non-football injury list and cut seven players. 

Indianapolis released RB Darius Jackson and waived seven others, including: 

Per Andrew Walker, Hilton suffered a mild hamstring injury while working out before reporting to the team. He can come off the NFI list at any time. 

Hilton, 30, is a former third-round pick of the Colts back in 2012. He’s currently in the final year of his six-year, $65.547 million contract that included $39 million guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $14,542,000 in 2020.

In 2019, Hilton appeared in 10 games for the Colts and caught 45 passes for 501 yards receiving and five touchdowns. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 28 receiver out of 122 qualifying players.
