Josina Anderson of ESPN reports that the Colts are hosting free agent LB Nate Irving for a visit on Monday.
Irving recently visited with the Cardinals, but there hasn’t been a lot of buzz surrounding him since the meeting was first reported last Tuesday.
Irving, 26, played out his four-year, $2.735 million contract with the Denver Broncos, and will be an intriguing free agent to watch in the coming weeks.
Irving unfortunately suffered a torn ACL last year, so he could end up being a decent value signing for a team like the Cardinals.
In 2014, Irving was limited to appearing in eight games and recording 46 tackles, one sack and a safety. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 22 inside linebacker out of 60 qualifying players.
