The Indianapolis Colts officially placed WR Harvey Binford on injured reserve after passing through waivers unclaimed on Wednesday.
Binford, 26, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Lindenwood last May. However, he was waived during the first round of roster cuts and didn’t catch on with another team during the season.
Binford played for the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League in 2015 and 2016. The Cardinals signed him to a contract this past March only to cut him loose shortly after this year’s draft.
The Colts signed him to a contract in June before waiving him on Tuesday.
During his two years in the Arena league, Binford caught 26 passes for 429 yards receiving and seven touchdowns.
