Colts Sign CB Jalil Brown, Add Two To Practice Squad

The Indianapolis Colts announced Tuesday that they have signed free agent CB Jalil Brown to the active roster and signed WR Chandler Jones and ILB Rob Ruggiero to their practice squad.

Brown, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2011 NFL Draft out of the University of Colorado. He spent three years with the Chiefs before he was placed on waivers and later claimed by the Miami Dolphins in December of last year.

In 2013, Brown appeared in fives games and recorded four tackles for the Dolphins.

Jones signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent out San Jose State back in May 12, 2014, but was later placed on waivers on August 4. During his college career, Jones caught 248 passes for 3,087 yards receiving  and 29 touchdowns.

Ruggiero signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent back on August 21, but he was waived just a few weeks later.
