The Indianapolis Colts announced Thursday that they’ve signed DT Brandon Banks to a contract and waived WR Matt Hazel with an injury designation.
Should Hazel clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the Colts’ injured serve list.
Banks, 24, wound up signing on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Charlotte back in May of last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to the team’s practice squad.
Washington eventually promoted him to their active roster but waived him a few days later.
In 2017, Banks appeared in one game for the Redskins and recorded one tackle.
