The Indianapolis Colts announced Wednesday that they’ve signed OT Arturo Uzdavinis to a contract and placed OT Jerry Ugokwe on waivers.
Uzdavinis, 24, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Tulane back in May of last year. He was waived during the first round of roster cuts and later signed to the Bears’ practice squad a few months into the regular season.
After one week in Chicago, Uzdavinis joined the Jaguars’ practice squad and returned to the team on a future/reserve contract this past January. However, Jackson elected to waive Uzdavinis shortly after this year’s draft.
The Lions signed him to a contract a few weeks later but he was once again cut loose a month later. Uzdavinis just signed a contract with the Vikings a few weeks ago before being cut loose last week.
Uzdavinis has yet to appear in an NFL game.
