Colts Sign WR Dontrelle Inman, Place WR Marcus Johnson On IR

The Indianapolis Colts announced Tuesday that they’ve signed WR Dontrelle Inman to a contract and placed WR Marcus Johnson on injured reserve.

The Colts also signed CB D.J. Killings to their practice squad.

Here’s the Colts updated practice squad:

  1. WR Steve Ishmael
  2. WR Reece Fountain
  3. LB Ahmad Thomas
  4. G Sean Harlow
  5. QB Phillip Walker
  6. OT Rees Odhiambo
  7. RB Jonathan Williams
  8. DB Tray Matthews
  9. CB D.J. Killings

Inman, 29, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia back in 2011. Jacksonville decided to waive him shortly afterward and he remained unsigned before joining the Chargers in 2014.

The Chargers re-signed Inman to a one-year restricted deal worth $2.746 million last year before trading him to the Bears for a conditional seventh-round pick.

In 2017, Inman appeared in 12 games for the Bears and caught 25 passes for 343 yards receiving and one touchdown.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
