The Colts announced the signing of RB Deji Karim on Sunday and that they have placed RB Davin Meggett on waivers.
Karim, 27, is a former sixth-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2010. He previously played for the Colts when he was claimed off of waivers in April of 2012. Karim most recently played for the Texans last year, but has found any reported interest as a free agent.
Meggett, 24, signed with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Maryland. He was previously with the Colts after he signed to their practice squad in December of 2012. However, Indianapolis would later waive him before the start of the 2013 season.
At Maryland, Meggett appeared in 50 games and ran for 2,469 yards on 485 attempts and 18 touchdowns.
