Colts Signing DL Kristjan Sokoli To Practice Squad

The Indianapolis Colts are signing DE Kristjan Sokoli to their practice squad on Monday, according to his agent Brett Tessler.

The Colts’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. DE Kristjan Sokoli
  2. ILB Trevor Bates
  3. QB Stephen Morris
  4. TE Mike Miller
  5. CB Christopher Milton
  6. WR Tevaun Smith
  7. Jeremy Vujnovich
  8. CB Frankie Williams
  9. LB Deiontrez Mount
  10. DB Lee Hightower

The Colts actually tried Sokoli out before the start of the season, so he was clearly on their radar.

Interestingly enough, Sokoli played offensive line for the Seahawks, but it appears as though he felt a return to the defensive side of the ball was ultimately best for him.

Sokoli, 24, was taken in the sixth-round of last year’s NFL Draft by the Seahawks. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2,370,484 rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $525,000 base salary for the 2016 season when he was recently cut loose.

In 2015, Sokoli was limited to appearing in one game for the Seahawks.
