The Indianapolis Colts announced Friday that they’ve promoted WR Daurice Fountain to their active roster and waived TE Clive Walford.
- The Colts also signed QB Phillip Walker to their practice squad.
Here’s the Colts updated practice squad:
- LB Ahmad Thomas
- WR Krishawn Hogan
- DB Rolan Milligan
- OT Tony Garcia
- WR Steve Ishmael
- CB Jalen Collins
- TE Je’Ron Hamm (Injured)
- OT De’Ondre Wesley
- DE Anthony Winbush
- TE Billy Brown
- QB Phillip Walker
Walford, 27, is a former third-round pick out of Miami by the Raiders in the 2015 NFL Draft. The Raiders elected to place him on waivers back in April and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Jets.
However, Walford lasted just a few months in New York, as he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason. The Colts just recently signed him to a contract.
In 2017, Walford appeared in 13 games for the Raiders and recorded nine receptions for 80 yards receiving and no touchdown.
