Colts WR Krishawn Hogan told reporters on Monday that he suffered a season-ending torn ACL during Sunday’s game against the 49ers.
“I kind of knew it when it happened,” Hogan said of the injury, per Mike Chappell.
You can expect the Colts to place Hogan on injured reserve in the coming days and add someone to their roster.
Hogan, 22, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Marian back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Colts cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.
The Colts called him up a few weeks into the regular season and he appeared in two games for Indianapolis.
During his college career at Marian, Hogan appeared in 40 games and had 263 receptions for 4,395 yards (16.7 avg.) and 42 touchdowns.
