The Dallas Cowboys officially activated DT Maliek Collins from the PUP list on Monday after he passed a physical, according to Howard Balzer.
Collins previously underwentย surgery for the broken foot he suffered back in May, which led to him opening training camp on the active/PUP list.
Collins, 23, is a former third-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2016. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $3,550,180 contract and stands to make base salaries of $755,000 and $851,528 over the final two years of the agreement.
In 2017, Collins appeared in all 16 games for the Cowboys and recorded 21 tackles, two sacks and two fumble recoveries. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 114 interior defender out of 122 qualifying players.
