Cowboys Cut Three Players Including LB Jeremiah George, Sign Two

The Dallas Cowboys announced Tuesday that they’ve waived C Michael Coe, LB Jeremiah George and OT Levon Myers and signed DE Darnell Leslie and TE M.J. McFarland to contracts.

George, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Jets back in 2014. He was unable to make the Jets’ 53-man roster during his rookie season but was later added to their practice squad.

George had brief stints with the Jaguars and Buccaneers before he was cut loose coming out of the preseason last year.

The Cowboys signed George to their practice squad at the start of the regular and brought him back on a futures deal this past January.

In 2015, George appeared in 15 games for the Buccaneers and recorded seven tackles.
