The Dallas Cowboys made a number of roster moves on Wednesday including placing WR Dez Bryant, DB Barry Church and DE David Irving on season-ending injured reserve.
- Cowboys promoted WR Vince Mayle and WR Rodney Smith to their active roster.
- Cowboys signed DB Josh Thomas.
- Cowboys signed WR Donte Foster, DE Mike McAdoo, and DB Brandon McGee to their practice squad.
Church, 27, is in the fourth year of his five-year, $12.94 million contract that includes $3.8 million guaranteed. He’ll make base salaries of $2.75 million over the next two years.
In 2015, Church appeared in 15 games for the Cowboys and recorded 117 tackles and a forced fumble. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 38 safety out of 87 qualifying players.
