The Dallas Cowboys announced Saturday that they’ve re-signed LB Will Smith, per David Helman.
This comes just a day after the team re-signed LB Keith Smith following a recent workout, so it appears as though they’re interested in giving them a shot to compete for a spot on the 53-man roster this summer.
Smith, 24, was selected in the seventh-round of last year’s NFL Draft. However, he was waived at the start of the 2014 season, but later signed on to the team’s practice squad.
Dallas wound eventually sign him to a future/reserve contract, but cut him loose shortly after the draft.
