The Dallas Cowboy have released FBย Jed Collins and signedย Tyler Clutts to replace him on their roster, according to Todd Archer.
Collins, 29, originally signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out Washington State of back in 2008. Since then, he’s played for the Bears, Browns, Chiefs, Cardinals, Titans, Saints and Lions.
The Cowboysย signed him to a contract back in March, so his stay in Dallas was short lived.
In 2014, Collins appeared in all 16 games for the Lions and ran for 19 yards on eight carries (1.2 YPC) to go along with five receptions for 39 yards receiving and a touchdown.ย Pro Football Focusย has him rated as the No. 15ย fullbackย out of 23ย qualifying players.
