Cowboys Sign DB Marqueston Huff To Futures Deal

The Dallas Cowboys have signed DB Marqueston Huff to a futures contract for the 2018 season on Wednesday, according to Todd Archer.

As of now, the Cowboys have signed eight players to futures deals including:

  1. CB Marquez White
  2. WR Brian Brown
  3. WR K.D. Cannon
  4. S Jameill Showers
  5. DT Joe Vellano
  6. OT Jarron James
  7. RB Trey Williams
  8. DB Marqueston Huff

Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.

Huff, 25, was taken in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL draft by the Titans. The Titans waived him as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players, but he was later claimed by the Jaguars.

The Ravens elected to sign him off of the Jaguars’ practice back in October of last year. Huff signed a one-year, $690,000 with the Chiefs as an unrestricted free agent this past March but was, unfortunately, waived in June.

The Buccaneers signed Huff to a contract in July of last year but he was cut loose coming out of the preseason.

In 2016, Huff appeared in 11 games for the Ravens and recorded three tackles.
