The Dallas Cowboys officially signed FB Ryan Yurachek to a contract on Wednesday and placed LB Justin Phillips on waivers.
Yurachek, 22, wound up going undrafted out of Marshall in 2018 before securing the tryout with the Saints. New Orleans signed him to a contract soon after before cutting him loose a few months later.
Yurachek later caught on with the Raiders and spent the 2018 season on their practice squad. Oakland brought him back on a futures deal this past January only to waive him with an injury settlement a few weeks ago.
During his four-year college career at Marshall, Yurachek caught 143 passes for 1,354 (9.5 YPC) to go along with 26 touchdowns. He also rushed for 40 yards on three carries and no touchdowns.
