The Cowboys re-signed long-time LS L.P. Ladouceur earlier this offseason, who has been the Cowboys long snapper since 2005.
At 38, Ladouceur could face some competition from the younger Scott.
Scott, 24, signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State in 2018. He was waived in early August by the Raiders.
Scott was the primary long snapper for the Wildcats for the final 26 games of his college career, seeing action in 31 total games. In addition to a perfect snap count on 133 attempts in 2017, Scott added three tackles on punt coverage.
