The Dallas Cowboys have signed TE Brandon Barden to a contract on Tuesday and placed TE Ray Hamilton on waivers, according to Brandon George.
Barden, 26, originally signed on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Vanderbilt back in 2012. He lasted just a few months with the team before he was placed on waivers and later added to the Titans’ practice squad.
He played briefly for the Jaguars before joining the Chiefs in October of last year. Kansas City later signed him to a future/reserve contract at the end of the season, but later cut him loose.
Barden hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2012 season when he was playing for the Titans.
