Cowboys Signing K Greg Zuerlein To Three-Year, $7.5M Deal

According to Mike Garafolo, the Cowboys are signing former Rams K Greg Zuerlein to a three-year, $7.5 million contract on Friday.

This is an interesting move for the Cowboys, seeing as they’ve also signed K Kai Forbath a contract this offseason. Garafolo notes that Forbath received a $137,500 guaranteed signing bonus as part of his deal with the Cowboys.

It will be interesting to see if Dallas carries both players throughout the summer.

Zuerlein, 32, is a former six-round pick of the Rams back in 2012. He has played all eight seasons for the Rams and just finished out the final year of his three-year, $6.75 million contract that included $2.375 million guaranteed.

In 2019, Zuerlein appeared in all 16 games for the Rams and converted 24 of 33 field goals attempts (72.7 percent) to go along with all 42 extra point tries.
