Cowboys Waive DB Brandon McGee From I.R. With Settlement

The Dallas Cowboys officially waived CB Brandon McGee from their injured reserve list Tuesday with an injury settlement.

Dallas cut McGee close to a month ago, but he later reverted to their injured reserve list after clearing waivers.

McGee, 25, was taken by the Rams in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL draft. He was unfortunately among the team’s roster cuts last year, but later returned to the Rams’ practice squad.

Unfortunately, the Rams cut McGee loose midseason and later signed to to the Giants’ practice squad before the Cowboys gave him a one-year, future/reserve contract in January.

In 2015, McGee was active for just a single game and did not record a statistic.
