Cowboys Waive OT Korren Kirven From IR With Settlement

The Dallas Cowboys officially waived OT Korren Kirven from injured reserve with a settlement on Thursday.

Kirven, 23, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama back in May of last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed on to the Browns’ practice squad.

Kirven finished out the year with the Jets and returned to New York on a futures contract this past January. After he was waived by New York, Kirven signed on with the Panthers, but was, unfortunately, cut loose a few months ago.

The Cowboys signed Kirven to a contract earlier in the month before waiving him with an injury designation on Tuesday and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.

Kirven has yet to appear in an NFL game.
