The Dallas Cowboys officially waived WR Marchie Murdock from injured reserve with a settlement on Monday.
Murdock, 23, wound up signing on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa State back in May. He signed a three-year, $1.71 million contract with Dallas, but was waived with an injury designation last week and later reverted to the team’s injured reserve list.
During his four-year college career at Illinois and Iowa State, Murdock caught 64 passes for 753 yards receiving and eight touchdowns over the course of 22 games.
