DeAngelo Williams Visiting With The Steelers On Friday

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports former Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams is scheduled to visit the Steelers on Friday.

This is the first reported interest in Williams since he became available, but the Steelers could use a complimentary back to Le’Veon Bell, so we’ll have to see how the meeting goes.

Williams, 31, was released by the Panthers in a move that freed up $733,333 in available cap space.

In 2014, Williams ran for 219 yards on 63 carries (3.5 YPC) to go along with five receptions for 44 yards receiving over the course of six games.
