Wide receiver Deion Branch could be brought back by the New England Patriots after being released by the team only a few days ago, according to CSN New England.
Branch spent ten seasons with the Patriots after being drafted in the second-round in 2002, and is hoping to rejoin the team. Apparently, New England are also interested in bringing him back.
The Patriots traded to acquire WR Greg Salas a few days ago. Salas spent with in St. Louis withย offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, but the Patriots receiving corps is fairly deep. As of now, they have Wes Welker, Brandon Lloyd, Matthew Slater and Julian Edelman on their roster, but Branch could be added at some point.
