Kevin Seifert of ESPN opines that the Detroit Lions will give running back Mikel Leshoure “as much work as his conditioning will allow” against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
Leshoure served a two-game suspension, so he hasn’t appeared this season, but offensive coordinator Scott Linehan said in an interview with the team website that he will “certainly be involved heavily in the gameplan and we’ll go from there.”
Detroit didn’t flourish on the ground against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, with Kevin Smith, the leading tailback, carrying 16 times for 53 yards and just 3.3 YPC.
