The Dolphins claimed CB Dimitri Patterson off of waivers from the Browns, according to ProFootballTalk.
Cleveland recently released Patterson and in claiming the veteran defensive back, Miami takes on $340,000 in remaining salary for the rest of the season.
The team adds a veteran presence to the secondary at a low price and could help raise the Dolphins minimal (yet still existent) playoff chances a bit.
