Jordan Raanan of NJ.com reports that the Miami Dolphins claimed DE Damontre Moore off of waivers from the Giants on Monday.

The Dolphins needed some pass-rushing help, so it will be interesting to see what Moore can do for them down the stretch.

New York elected to cut Moore after numerous issues, the most recent of which was a fight with DL Cullen Jenkins over head phones.

Moore, 23, is in the third year of his four-year, $2.8 million rookie contract that included a $575,252 signing bonus. He’ll make a base salary of $585,000 this season and another $675,000 in 2016.

This year, Moore has appeared in 11 games and recorded 23 tackles, three sakcs, a forced fumble and a recovery for the Giants. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 42 defensive end in a 4-3 defense out of 52 qualifying players.
