Dolphins Release G Josh Sitton

The Miami Dolphins announced that they have released veteran G Josh Sitton on Wednesday.

Sitton, 32, is a former fourth-round pick of the Packers back in 2008. He played eight years for the Packers before they released at the start of the 2016 season. He was set to enter the final year of a two-year, $18 million deal.

According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Sitton creates $5 million in cap space and $2 million in dead money.

In 2018, Sitton appeared in one game for the Dolphins before landing on injured reserve due to a torn rotator cuff.
