Dolphins Releasing DB Johnson Bademosi

The Dolphins announced they released CB Johnson Bademosi on Monday.

Bademosi landed with Miami from Houston as a part of the Laremy Tunsil deal for the Dolphins. However, he will be released after only six games for Miami.

Bademosi, 29, signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in 2012. He managed to make their 53-man roster in each of his first three years in the NFL and was brought back on a one-year restricted deal.

The Lions later signed him to a two-year contract in 2016 before trading him to the Patriots for a 2019 sixth-round pick in 2017.

Bademosi played out the final year of his two-year, $4.5 million contract and signed with the Texans to a two-year, $6.25 million contract in 2018. The Texans traded him to Miami in the last year of his deal.

In 2019, Bademosi has appeared in four games for the Dolphins and recorded five total tackles.
