Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins have released veteran DT Gabe Wright after he recently got in a fight with RBÂ Kenyan Drake.
Wright, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Lions back in 2015. He lasted just over a year in Detroit before he waived at the start of the 2016 season.
The Browns later signed Wright to their practice and finished out the year in Cleveland. Wright had a brief stint with the Eagles last year before joining the Dolphins at the start of the regular season.
In 2017, Wright appeared in one game and recorded one tackle and a pass defense.
