The Miami Dolphins officially signed eight players to future/reserve contracts on Monday for the 2018 season.
The full list includes:
- CB Taveze Calhoun
- QB Brandon Doughty
- T Sean Hickey
- CB Tracy Howard
- WR Malcolm Lewis
- WR Drew Morgan
- RB Brandon Radcliff
- DE Jonathan Woodard
Howard, 23, signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in May of last year. He wound up making the active roster coming out of the preseason and signed aย three-year, $1.62 million contract.
The Browns elected to place him on waivers back in April and he was later claimed by the Jaguars. Unfortunately, Jacksonville cut Howard loose coming out of the preseason and he had a brief stint on their practice squad.
The Dolphins added him to their taxi squad a few weeks ago.
In 2016, Howard appeared in 15 games for the Browns and recorded 20 total tackles, one pass defense, and 111 yards as a kickoff return specialist.
