The Miami Dolphins have signed seventh-round RB Malcolm Perry to a contract on Tuesday, according to his agent.

Perry played quarterback at Navy and will make the transition to running back in the NFL. The Dolphins used the No. 246 overall pick on him in the seventh round.
Perry is projected to sign a four-year, $3,370,490 contract that includes a $75,490 signing bonus.
During his four-year college career at Navy, Perry rushed for 4,359 yards and 40 touchdowns to go along with 22 receptions for 470 yards receiving and three touchdowns over the course of 41 games. He also threw for 1,311 yards, 10 touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 51.3 percent of his passes.
