Eagles Activate OT Jordan Mailata From COVID-19 List

The Eagles announced Thursday they have activated OT Jordan Mailata from the COVID-19 list.

The Eagles now have no players remaining on the list.

The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.

Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.

Mailata, 21, was selected with the No. 233 overall pick in the seventh round in 2018 after the Eagles traded up with the Patriots to get him. He agreed to a four-year, $2,549,392 with the Eagles and stands to make base salaries of $570,000 and $660,000 over the next two years of the agreement.

Mailata is a former Aussie Rugby player, who made the decision to pursue an NFL career this past offseason.

Mailata has yet to appear in an NFL game.
