According to Mike Kaye and Derrick Gunn, the Eagles have released G Jamon Brown from the practice squad.
Brown was kicked out of the team hotel on Saturday before the Eagles’ road game against the Packers and sent home for conduct detrimental to the team, per Gunn.
Gunn adds Brown immediately met with GM Howie Roseman and HC Doug Pederson and was released.
Brown, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Rams back in 2015. He was in the final year of a four-year, $3,250,974 contract that included $754,816 fully guaranteed when the Rams elected to waive him to make room for DE Dante Fowler.
Brown was later claimed by the New York Giants. In March of last year, Brown signed a three-year, $18.75 million contract with the Falcons that included $12.75 million guaranteed. Unfortunately, he was cut by the team in August.
The Bears signed Brown to their practice squad soon after and he eventually joined the Eagles active roster. Philadelphia cut him loose and brought him back to the practice squad.
In 2020, Brown has appeared in two games for the Eagles, making one start for them at guard.
