Eagles & S Chris Maragos Agree To Restructured Deal

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Eagles and S Chris Maragos have agreed to a reworked deal that eliminates the 2019 season of his contract.

Maragos, who is currently on the PUP list, is now set to make up to $1.75 million in 2018 and will be a free agent next year.

Maragos, 31, originally signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin back in 2010. He spent just over a year with the 49ers before he was waived and later and later signed to the Seahawksโ€™ practice squad.

It wasnโ€™t until 2014 that Maragos joined the Eagles. He was in the third year of his four-year, $7.5 million contract.

In 2017, Maragos appeared in six games and recorded 11 tackles for the Eagles before being placed on injured reserve.
