The Philadelphia Eagles have signed eight players to futures contracts for the 2020 season on Monday.
The full list includes:
- WR Marcus Green
- QB Kyle Lauletta
- C Keegan Render
- CB Tremon Smith
- WR Marken Michel
- DT Albert Huggins
- TE Alex Ellis
- WR River Cracraft
Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.
Lauletta, 24, was selected by the Giants in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Richmond. He was entering the second year of his four-year, $3,167,700 rookie contract when the Giants waived him coming out of the preseason.
Lauletta later signed on to the Eagles practice squad after clearing waivers.
In 2018, Lauletta appeared in two games for New York and recorded five passing attempts but no completions.
