Elliott, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bengals back in 2017. He signed a four-year, $2.677 million contract, but was cut loose coming out of the preseason and later signed to the team’s practice squad.
The Eagles signed Elliott to their practice squad a few weeks later and re-signed a one-year, $645,000 back in March.
In 2019, Elliott has appeared in 11 games for the Eagles and recorded 14 converted field goals on 14 attempts (100 percent) to go along with 21 made point-after attempts on 23 attempts (91.3 percent) and 36 touchbacks. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 6 overall kicker out of 32 qualifying players.
