The Philadelphia Eagles announced Monday that they’ve signed WRย Carlton Agudosi to a futures contract for the 2019 season.
Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.
Agudosi, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers back 2017. He was cut loose coming out of the preseason and later signed to their practice squad.
Agudosi was on and off of the Cardinals’ roster in 2017 and returned to Arizona on a futures contract last year. However, the Cardinals, once again, waived him at the start of the regular season.
During his college career at Rutgers, Agudosi caught 35 passes for 513 yards receiving and two touchdowns over the course of 26 games.
